"On Location" has officially wrapped production! Next step - we begin the editing process and we begin looking for distribution.

That's the good news. The bad news is that the steps we had to take to decrease the risks posed by COVID-19 forced our budget to rise higher than expected. We needed to add days to our shooting schedule, add crew members, and supply PPE and sanitizing materials. This is where we need your help.

Our efforts were worth the fight - we had ZERO positive test results for COVID-19. We proved that we could film a horror movie during a pandemic and still keep our cast and crew safe. But now we need your help.

Here's a summary about our film and the amazing talent behind it! We hope that this film excites you and encourages you to support our efforts!

"On Location" - Summary

Six friends start a business, providing guided tours to the shooting locations of the world's most famous horror films. Business is booming at 'Terror Trips'...until they find the one spot where the horror is real.

That's the premise to our-feature-length film, "On Location". Trust us, every horror fan is going to love this one! We're actually filming AT the locations where some of your favorite scary movies were shot.

You'll recognize several names involved with this production if you're a big horror movie fan. No fewer than FIVE people involved have played a killer on-screen in a classic horror film. Let's start with the stars of the film;

HANNAH FIERMAN

Hannah first made her mark in horror when she played Lily, the shy girl in the opening segment of V/H/S. Spoiler alert - she wasn't as sweet as you'd hope. She later reprised her role as Lily in the film "Siren". Hannah is playing the role of Ginny, who's MUCH nicer to everybody she meets....at least the ones who deserve it.

We've been watching Hannah Fierman films for a long time, and we're really excited to finally work with her!

DAMIAN MAFFEI

Damian Maffei has spent the last few years becoming a slasher favorite, but it's usually behind a mask. So lets take that mask off and see what he really looks like.

Damian is rapidly becoming a fixture in horror films, and we're proud to have him acting in AND producing our film. He's also one of the nicest people, but don't tell him we said that. He gets stabby when you compliment him.

CHANEY MORROW

Chaney's portrayal of Ghost in Haunt...simply chilling. We've worked with him on two other films, and he brings intensity to the set with every role. He's in the upcoming Wrong Turn film called "The Foundation", and you're going to LOVE his role in that one. It's creepy.

We can't wait to watch him play Eli. in "On Location". He OWNS this role.

L.C. HOLT

If you haven't seen "You're Next", you're missing out on one of the classic horror films of the past ten years...and a fantastic performance by L.C. Hurry up with that, it's a great film. L.C. also was in the fantastic V/H/S 2, and he hosts his own YouTube series, where he discusses the world's best horror films with some incredible guests.

His knowledge of horror films aligns perfectly with the character he is going to play, Ed. You'll see.

PRODUCER - FELISSA ROSE

Possibly the nicest person ever to kill someone on-screen, our film is being produced by the legendary Felissa Rose! We cannot wait to get her on set and create an incredible film alongside the infamous Angela Baker!!!

We know that we have the right team, the right script, and the perfect setting for an amazing horror film....and we want you to join us in this endeavor!

What We Need

The film was original scheduled to shoot over the course of 15 days - but with new necessary health and safety standards, we made adjustments. We added days to our schedule so that our equipment and our set could be cleaned and sanitized properly. We also added crew members to assist us and keep everything sanitized.

We only needed to add two days to our schedule and still keep everything sanitized. But that meant we needed to pay our cast and crew for extra days, and also needed to secure our equipment rentals for two extra days. Furthermore, we hired a Health and Safety Supervisor for the run of the film - also known as a Covid Coordinator. We take this set VERY seriously, and we are making sure we mitigate the risks as much as possible.

The initial cost estimate for two additional days will be approximately 11 thousand dollars. That money will help us secure the following necessities;

Two additional days pay for cast and crew Additional crew members to assist with cleaning and sanitizing Two additional days of equipment rentals Cleaning supplies (Hand sanitizer, disinfectant for equipment, etc) Frequent COVID-19 testing

The Plan

The coronavirus pandemic obviously has affected us all. But moving forward, it creates new challenges on a film set. We'd like you to know what our plans are to mitigate the risks involved with COVID-19 and how we run our set. Here are a handful of the requirements we are enforcing on our set to mitigate risk;

COVID-19 tests are given 48 hours before we begin to film, and cast/crew will be tested twice a week throughout the production. We only film 8-9 hour days for the vast majority of the film. A rested crew is more alert and less likely to make mistakes. Temperature checks made at call time every day. Masks are mandatory (we have 1,200 FDA-approved masks to supplement) Multiple hand sanitizer stations will be set up Mandatory break every 90 minutes for hand sanitizer/washing hands Departments are separated into pods, and the pods must keep their distance from each other Social distancing is enforced between pods Equipment cleaned frequently. Lunches are boxed meals, and take place in shifts so we can maintain social distancing at all times. Our film is 90% outdoors, which helps us lower the risk of infection, but it will not affect the standards we will put in place to protect our cast and crew. Our plan runs deeper than just the above-listed items. If you have questions about our guidebook to mitigate risk from COVID-19, please reach out and ask us. Transparency is key.

Many films have launched crowdfunding campaigns since the start of the pandemic, and many have failed. We know that the difference between our film and theirs is simple - we have a highly-experienced team of filmmakers, and we have a plan to finish production safely and deliver a quality horror film.

The Impact

Your contributions make this film possible, but it will also create an environment for safe and healthy filmmaking. We're excited to get back to set, but we couldn't do that until we knew we were creating a healthy atmosphere for our cast and crew.

Please jump in and help us raise the funds, so we can finish this film and bring you the story of "On Location".
