Shuaishuai Peng
We are Peng Shuai’s supporters from all over the world. After Peng Shuai, the Chinese tennis star publicly alleged Zhang Gaoli, the former China’s Vice Premiere of sexual assault, she has disappeared from the public eye. To date, she is under control and prohibited from reaching out to the public on her own.
The Chinese government released some photos and videos indicatint Peng Shuai is safe and that her sexual allegations are “her privacy”. However, Peng Shuai is not free and her sexual allegations deserves a public concern and is far from a “private” matter.
To date, she cannot speak freely or reach the public directly; her sexual allegations were not being respected and investigated by the responsible stakeholders; all information regarding Peng is under heavy censorship in China.
We DEMAND the Chinese government to:
- FREE Peng Shuai and LET HER SPEAK to the publicly directly and freely;
- END ALL CENSORSHIP regarding her allegations;
- Fully investigate her allegations with TRANSPARENCY.
To Peng Shuai’s supporters: Please join us in demanding Peng Shuai’s true freedom. Your signature means more protection for Peng. This letter and all signatures will be sent to China’s State Council and the Chinese Tennis Association by December 10, 2021.

Unless PengShuai is free to speak to the truth without any intimidation, she is not “safe”.

I believe in freedom of speech
I am signing this because no women has to fear for her life when she speaks up. In the year 2021, women are still oppressed for speaking up, Peng Shuai deserves to be free, to speak freely, and to have her allegations looked into.
No women or person should be put in this position
I am worried about the lack of open communication about the situation of Peng Shuai.
